Activities are organised according to the interests and abilities of the people taking part and are designed to create opportunities to socialise and strengthen skills needed for daily living.

The Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) is a not for profit organisation providing help at home and other support services to older people, people with disabilities and their carers in Melbourne and Greater Geelong for the past 30 years. AMCS provides home care packages, aged care information, assessment and referral services, respite for carers, social activities and companionship and emergency relief to people from diverse backgrounds

Support for older ethnic people and their carers. Come in and have fun socializing a meeting new friends with a variety of activities. Transport provided for eligible clients. Norlane programs also provided.

These groups provide support to frail older people in the form of social and recreational activities planned to meet individual needs and abilities.  A meal is provided and transport assistance is available, if required.

Bellarine Community Health - Point Lonsdale

Activities include:

• Day program providing social support, recreation, activity-based programs and enhancement of daily living skills for the frail aged and those with disabilities. Activities provide respite for families or carers.
The program operates between 9:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. A Friday evening program is also available.

• 'Lunch with the Bunch' allows frail aged people and people with a disability who are socially isolated to meet over a meal. The program enables our residents to maxinise their enjoyment of life opportunities, and develop friendships and new experiences.
