Communities@Work coordinates several social and recreational programs specifically for seniors in the Tuggeranong and Weston Creek regions.

Communities@Work's Teens Program (formerly Fun4Youth) is a social and recreational program for young people with a disability. On 1 July 2014 Communities@Workcommenced transition to the NDIS model for delivering services to people with disabilities. This model adopts a person-centred approach that is more responsive to your needs and wants.

What does the service provide?
The Teens Program provides the opportunity for young people to develop and enhance their social skills and build peer networks. All activities operate at either our Southern Hub or our Northern Hub or within the wider Canberra community, and are age and culturally appropriate.

-	Shopping centre exploration
-	Computers
-	General life skills
-	Social skills


Communities@Work's Young Adults Program (formerly Links4Life) is a post school program for young adults with a disability. On 1 July 2014, Communities@Work commenced transition to the NDIS model for delivering services to people with disabilities.  This model adopts a person-centred approach that is more responsive to your needs and wants.

Young Adults Opportunities
The Young Adults Program  provides the opportunity for young people to develop and enhance their social skills and build peer networks. The program is centre-based at our Northern Hub and within the wider Canberra community, and is age and culturally appropriate.
 
Some examples of activities include:
-	Music programs
-	General sports & fitness
-	Cooking (meal planning, preparation, cooking on a budget, reading & adapting recipes, kitchen safety & hygiene)
-	Shopping centre exploration (shopping, as well as knowing what's in your local community)
-	Computers (educational and fun)
-	General life skills (money management, household skills, travel training & more)
-	Social skills 


Communities@Work's Adults Program (formerly known as Connections) is an activities based program for adults with disabilities. Adults Program Opportunities
-	An opportunity to develop living skills such as cooking, computer skills, arranging transport and outings, food handling and storage, and understanding personal boundaries.
-	A choice of leisure activities at differing skill levels including music, craft, dance, woodwork, games, art  and exercise.
-	A chance to have fun, build friendships and social networks.
-	A step towards independence.
-	Coordination and supervision of activities.
-	Transport assistance to attend activities.
-	A supportive small group environment.
