Free immunisations for all preschool children are available through Maternal & Child Health Centres in the Municipality.  Immunisations can be accessed during open session times when visiting the Maternal & Child Health Centre. 
Vaccines including diptheria, whooping cough, oral polio, measles/mumps/rubella, helpatitis B (for eligible children), and HIB are available.

Polio, tenanus and measles/mumps/rubella immunisations are available for adults, by arrangement.

Maternal And Child Health Centre - Heywood

Council provides its' infant immunisation program through the Maternal and Child Health Service during your child's 10 Key, Age and Stage consultations.

There are two vaccinations outside of the scheduled infant KAS consultations;
-	6 month old; and 
-	4 year old.

Council coordinates monthly immunisation sessions (free of charge) at 94 Julia Street (Karreeta Peeneeyt Mara – Portland Child and Family Complex) for children within these age groups.
