Canberra Hospital - Orthopaedic Services

The Ortho-Geriatric Medicine Service is routinely provided to orthopaedic inpatients at the Canberra Hospital, who are over the age of 65 years. The Ortho-Geriatric Medicine Service assesses patients with an aim to provide advice regarding management of medical conditions, anti-osteoporosis treatment, falls prevention and optimise medication management following surgery.

Orthopaedic Outpatient Services operates a large number of consultative, post operative and pre-admission clinics.
