Home Assist Onkaparinga

Blending respite, friendship and fun, our Clubs are for frail older people, people with dementia or people with a disability who live in the City of Onkaparinga. Qualified staff and trained volunteers provide a professional support program in a safe and welcoming environment. Activities include: guest speakers board and table games regular outings hot lunches gentle exercise  entertainment.
The clubs are based at the Council's Positive Ageing Centres.
•	Friendship Club - Wakefield House in Morphett Vale -operates every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am–3pm.
•	Kookaburra Club - Elizabeth House in Christies Downs -operates every Tuesday only from 9am–3pm.
•	Transport can be arranged. We request a contribution towards the cost of meals, transport and special events.

Home And Community Care Program - Outer South

Services include planned support to meet individual carers needs, centre based activities, facilitated community participation, assistance to access appointments, minimal home care support and referral to appropriate longer term services, specialist staff and volunteers who are matched to suit each individuals requirements.
