Oak Tree Psychology provides psychological treatment to adults, adolescents and children presenting with a range of psychological problems. Psychological services offered include clinical assessment, individual therapy, child and adolescent therapy, family therapy, and professional supervision. We are experienced in treating problems including anxiety, depression and mood disturbance, post traumatic stress, adjustment difficulties, stress management, chronic pain, interpersonal problems, childhood and parenting issues amongst many others.

We are open some weekdays open after 5pm.

The service provides psychological assessment, counselling and treatment for a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues for adults, adolescents, couples and families. Appointments are essential and a fee applies for the service. 

Thenia has a Medicare provider number for patients referred by a GP through the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative. Clients with a GP Mental Health Care Plan will be eligible to obtain a rebate from Medicare or their Health Funds, where applicable.

At Healthy Living Psychology, our psychologists are trained in the delivery of a range of techniques and therapies with demonstrated effectiveness in treating mental health disorders. We are passionate about working with clients to understand what is most important to them and assist them towards their own value-filled life.

Karen has worked with people of all abilities who have experienced trauma and mental ill health, with offenders in the justice system, people in crisis due to family violence, and as an individual and couples therapist at Relationships Australia (RACR). Karen draws from a number of theoretical frameworks, including self psychology, somatic and feminist approaches.
