Provides 24 hour supervised accommodation. Open 24 hours. Ruby's accommodation on a respite basis for 12 - 18 year olds helps young people and their families resolve conflict and get back together again. It works with parents, counselling team and the Women's and Childrens Hospital adolescent psychiatric services. Referral by Trace-A-Place and YPS counselling. Once an interview is organised two workers will visit the young person and their parent/s in the family home to carry out an assessment interview. This can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. At this assessment a time will be organised for the family to visit Rubys.: WaitingListDetails Counselling at Rubys is mandatory, so the service works closely with the counselling team (located in Pitt St). Outreach teams service both the north and Southern suburbs
