The campaign aims to improve public awareness about the risk factors for avoidable blindness and vision loss, highlight the benefits of early detection and treatment, particularly for those over 40 years and those at risk, and educate Australians about the types of eye health care services available. If an eye problem is diagnosed early, it can be managed and treated in many cases.
