Our role is to:
-- Register child support cases
-- Assess the level of child support payable based on a legislated formula
-- Transfer child support payments between parents where requested
-- Provide information to parents on child support matters
-- Refer customers to community, government and other organisations supporting separated parents
-- Administer international cases where requested
Interpreting service
If you do not speak English and need help from the Child Support Agency, ring the Telephone Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50. Ask them to set up a three-way conversation between you, an interpreter and a Child Support officer.
