Based in the Adelaide CBD, Streetlink is a free and confidential youth health service that provides a safe place for young people aged 12 to 25, who are homeless, at risk, or vulnerable to seek information, support and connection to services.
Streetlink is a primary health care service utilising an integrated treatment model that provides medical services, alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment services and mental health services within the one team.
Funded by the Adelaide Primary Health Network, Streetlink has commenced a primary mental health care service for young people with comorbid mental health and substance use concerns. Psychologists in the northern, southern and central regions of Adelaide are available to provide time limited psychological therapies to young people, within a stepped care model, and free of charge.
Primary Mental Health Program Criteria:
• 12-25 years of age
• Mild to moderate mental illness
• Comorbid substance use issue (alcohol or illicit drugs)
• GP Mental health treatment plan referral
