The Regional Family Dispute Resolution Program aims to help parents to work together for the best interests of their children.
Goal: To help mums and dads reach a 'liveable' agreement and develop a positive parenting relationship.
It does this by providing;
- General information for parents pre and post separation
- Counselling regarding separation for individuals
- FDR/Mediation for separated families
- Referrals
The RFDR Practitioner can help you;
- Identify issues of concern
- Look at options available to you
- To negotiate with your co-parent regarding time with and the
- needs of children, some property issues and ongoing parenting matters
- by providing personal counselling around separation issues
A small cost is associated as follows:
Counselling $10 per person per session if health care card or $20 if wage earner.
FDR/Mediation first hour free then fees apply. Services will not be refused due to inability to pay - Please talk to us.
