The Maternal and Child Health Service is a free service available for all families with children from birth to school entry age. Key age and stage visits are recommended at; 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 4 months, 8 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years and 3½ years, to check children's growth and development, provide parents with relevant parenting information and advice, and support family wellbeing. The Maternal and Child Health Service will assist refugee parents.
