Surgical and medical retina subspecialist expertise, Dr Barry has a keen interest in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, macular holes, epiretinal membranes and retinal detachments. Dr Barry also performs cataract surgery, and has extensive experience in managing the most difficult cases that involve vitreoretinal intervention. Dr Barry understands the importance of providing a comprehensive service and thus maintains an interest in the management of common oculoplastics disease, glaucoma and other general ophthalmic conditions.
Dr Barry is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) and an active member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Retina Specialists, as well as the American Society of Retina Specialists.
