Additional information
Dietetics provides nutritional advice to assist in the management of a medical condition. Individual appointments are available for both children and adults for all types of medical nutrition therapy. Clients will be encouraged to participate in education programs where available (eg. Healthy Weight Management, Antenatal group). The service focuses on Type 1 and complex diabetes with new diagnoses and simple type 2 diabetes being treated at Ballarat Community Health Centre. Past medical history and medication list need to be included with referral.
