MACH clinics can provide information on: Baby and child health issues; Baby and child health development; Nutrition and breastfeeding; Sleep and unsettling issues; Parenting and advice for new parents; Child safety; Behavioural issues and Postnatal depression and/or anxiety.
Clients can access this service by phoning Community Health Intake on (02) 6207 9977 between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm Wednesdays (excluding public holidays).
This service is free to Medicare and Asylum Seeker card holders.

ACT Health provides Maternal and Child Heath (MACH) facilitated sessions for parents of infants up to 3 months who are experiencing difficulties with feeding and settling their infants.
The group sessions allows time for parents to gather information, discuss young infant behaviours and also management suggestions for difficulties with breastfeeding, bottle feeding and sleep/settling.
To be eligible for this service clients must have infants up to 3 months of age. Support persons are welcome to attend.

ACT Health offer regular New Parent Groups, which involve a 4-week free group session facilitated by a Maternal and Child Health (MACH) Nurse.
They provide an opportunity to:
Meet first time parents with babies of a similar age (3-4 months); Discuss topics and issues related to caring for your baby and Find out how to access services available to parents in the community.
