Social Activities for both core and high care
We have lots of different groups - and we hope there is one just right for your or your loved one to mix with other people, joining in a small group and enjoy all sorts of activities and outings. Some of the most popular activities are our music program with Ben Costanzo which is enjoyed by all groups at different times, luncheons, coffee outings, movie days, information sessions and other relaxing activities like playing cards and pool, board games and arts and crafts.
If you want to try it out first that's ok, we will have a chat with you to find out which group or groups you might like best, and come along on that day and see what you think.
If we cant help you with a group we might be able to assist you in another way through our access and support program. If you are a seniors group for people from our ethnic communities there are ways we can help you. Perhaps we can support you through one of our existing groups or it might be time for us to start up a group here, we want to hear from you

Additional Information:
Through the delivery of services and programs, Diversitat Aged Support Services promotes independence for older people from culturally diverse backgrounds by providing support and socialisation opportunities, we also find that carers can have a chance to relax or participate in activities of their own knowing that their loved one is in good hands.
Our project workers aim to improve access and equity issues for older CALD community members, and assist and inform aged care service providers to promote culturally best practice
