They facilitate action on men’s health in collaboration with Australia's leading researchers, specialists, clinicals and educators, advocate for change, empower men and boys to take action on their health, build the capabilities of the health system and workforce, and prioritise their efforts to close the health and wellbeing gaps in specific groups.

Healthy Male is supported by the Australian Government Department of Health.

Vision and mission

Healthy Male has a vision of 'generations of healthy Australian men'.

They are a trusted source of information and facilitator of action on men’s health. They collaborate with the various communities, health professionals, researchers, peak bodies, partner agencies and government to achieve their vision through working across six pillars.

How Healthy Male can help

Healthy Male provide evidence-based, easy to understand information on male health.

They engage with the Australian public to improve knowledge and understanding of these issues through an extensive website, social media, email newsletters, a print magazine, advertising, and through partnerships with other health organisations.

They also support hundreds of organisations, sporting teams, community groups and Men’s Sheds across Australia, distributing engaging health messages and quality health information.

Healthy Male aims to enhance the current and future workforce capacity in male health through the development and release of clinical resources, practice guidelines, and education and training programs for health professionals.
