What it is used for
INDICATIONS AS AT 01 JAN 1991 : Phenylephrine hydrochloride is intended for the maintenance of an adequate level of blood pressure during spinal and inhalation anesthesia and for the treatment of vascular failure in shock, shock-like states, and drug-induced hypotension, of hypersensitivity. It is also employed to overcome paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, to prolong spinal anesthesia, and as a vasoconstrictor in regional analgesia.
How to take it
The way to take this medicine is: Intramuscular. This medicine is given through a needle inserted into the muscle beneath the skin.
