Hepatitis NSW

Hepatitis NSW provides information and education about hepatitis B and C. The organisation works with anyone affected by or at risk of hep B or C and people in the hepatitis workforce.

Hepatitis NSW is a not-for-profit charity started by the hepatitis community and funded by the Ministry of Health. The organisation informs, supports and educates about hepatitis B and hepatitis C to prevent transmission, improve services, and increase knowledge about treatment and cure.

Hepatitis NSW advocates with and for all people affected by hepatitis B or hepatitis C. It partners with other organisations and works with their communities to improve the lives of people affected by hepatitis B or hepatitis C.

Vision and mission

Hepatitis NSW’s vision is a world free of viral hepatitis.

The organisation works to improve the health and well-being of affected people and communities, and to help people get cured of hep C and tested and treated for hep B.

Hepatitis NSW offers a range of support services, printed and online resources and education and training, working with and for anyone affected by or working with people affected by hep B or C.

Hepatitis Infoline is a NSW-wide information and support service for people affected by viral hepatitis. It is free, confidential, and non-judgemental.

Hep C peer support: Hep Connect is designed to provide additional support to anyone in the community who is about to commence or is on hep C treatment.
