Novita Children's Services

Novita provides child development, rehabilitation and disability services to young clients, as well as support for their families and carers. They support children and young people throughout their childhood and adolescent years, in Adelaide, regional South Australia and beyond.

Through their broader work with families and communities, Novita's life-changing services have a direct impact on thousands of South Australians.

Novita’s team of staff includes rehabilitation medical specialists, paediatricians, occupational therapists, speech physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, orthotists, rehabilitation engineers and dieticians, who work together with families to give children the best start to life possible. Novita also provides service coordination and planning support, making clients’ experience with the organisation as easy as possible.

They are the largest South Australian community-based children’s service organisation. As a result of their established networks within the childcare, kindergarten and school sectors and with government and private child health organisations, including the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, they are able to provide best practice holistic care across many aspects of a child’s development.

Novita works with the latest research, equipment and technologies, helping its young clients access every aspect of life – whether they’re at home, kindergarten, school, in the playground or on the sports field. Over 77 years, Novita has become a recognised and trusted provider of children’s disability and developmental services, enabling each child to discover their abilities and full potential.
