A centre based Day Care called The Friendship Club.

Our office is open from 8:30am - 3:00pm Monday-Friday, however our Field Staff work 7:30am - 5:00pm Mon - Fri and by appointment Saturday and Sunday. We can also provide services for participants outside of these hours by appointment.

East Maitland Community Health Centre

East Maitland Community Health Services offer a range of community based health services to all members of the community.

Referral and training for carers as identified or upon request.

Catholic Community Services Central Coast

The Warnervale Wellness Centre is situated at Lower Level 1 Minnesota Road Hamlyn Terrace and is operated by Catholic Community Services. To be eligible to attend the centre under CHSP the care recipient must have a carer (family or friend) be over 65 years (frail aged) or have cognitive issues, including dementia and younger onset dementia (under 65years).  The centre operates 8:30am till 4:30pm with the flexibility of providing respite from 7am to 7pm to support the needs of carers. The centre provides a wheelchair accessible return bus service which picks up and drops off care recipients around the Wyong LGA. Carers may also choose to use their own transport or community transport to bring their family member/friend to and from the centre. Emergency respite is also available to carers as a one off or when needed (subject to availability)

The Warnervale Wellness Centre has an emphasis on restorative care, healthy aging and reablement, ensuring that the care recipients wellness is supported by innovative programs, tailored to meet health, spiritual and social needs of each individual. We deliver support to carers by providing resources, advice, advocacy, referrals and training (if applicable), ensuring that the carers goals are being met with positive and relevant outcomes.

The centre also has access to RN’s, possible respite beds with Our Lady of Loreto Gardens Nursing Home (which is co located with the centre). Care Recipients are able to enjoy a wide variety of activities and entertainment including, our outdoor sensory and vegetable garden, light exercise program, craft activities, poetry club, knitting club, garden club and special organised outings. Morning and afternoon tea are provided along with a hot lunch and dessert. 

Catholic Community Services philosophy of care follows a strength based approach supporting person centred care, social, psychological and spiritual well-being of carers, care recipients, families and communities.

Wyong Community Health Centre

Dungog and District Neighbourcare Multi Service Outlet

This service supports consumers with their housework. We can assist with washing, changing beds, vacuuming and bathroom cleaning for 1-2 hours per week or fortnight. Quality, environmentally friendly cleaning products are provided. Dungog & District Neighbourcare also has a Formal Linen Service for consumers who may have continence issues, or their carers are having difficulties maintaining a clean supply of linen. This service includes provision of linen, collection, laundering and delivery of linen, personal clothing can also be laundered as required.
