Scope's Community Inclusion team

Scope’s Community Inclusion team is a state-wide service that works closely with a range of partners to create pathways to inclusion and participation for people with a disability. We do this by providing specialised recreation and leisure services, supporting individuals to access mainstream opportunities, and working on a range of projects that build the community’s capacity to welcome and include people from all walks of life. Scope’s mission is to enable each person we support to live as an empowered and equal citizen.

Care For You is a specialist disability service provider in the provision of high quality care for people with a spinal cord injury or acquired brain injury, living in their own home. Care For You is accredited to DHSS/ISO 9001-2008 quality standards. Our Disability Support Workers are trained by Industry Experts.

 Moonee Valley City Council provides a range of services and community facilities. Council also assists other agencies, community groups and individuals to provide other services through community grants, support and facilitation.

This program offers a simple and effective way of meeting people's support and housing needs. Householders (older person/person with a disability) are matched with a homesharer who provides 10 hours of practical support each week in exchange for accommodation.

We are a major in-home care provider that supports people to live independent lives at home and in the community. We provide information, advice and guidance to assist people navigate and access support services they need to live the life they want. Our staff specialise in coordinating services across children, young people, adults and older adults. We value the diversity and provide services to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex, people who are financially and/or socially disadvantaged and veterans.
