The City of Mitcham has two Community Buses for people who are otherwise transport disadvantaged. Weekly door to door shopping services to Blackwood, Mitcham and Castle Plaza Shopping Centres and regular monthly trips to Mitcham and Blackwood Libraries, Westfield Marion and the Central Market are provided. City of Mitcham - Community Wellbeing

The City of Mitcham is located just 10 minutes from the CBD of Adelaide. Its' boundary stretches from Cross Road to the north, to the Sturt River in the South, from Mount Barker Road in the east, to South Road in the west to comprise an area approximately 71.5 square kilometers.

The shopping bus visits the Unley and Mitcham Shopping Centres during one week, and the Castle Plaza and Unley Shopping Centres the following week. Consult the Shopping Program for dates of travel.  Hire Service is available to community and not for profit organisations. An accredited volunteer  driver takes passengers to a shopping centre  and then back home in a community bus.

City Of Unley

The City of Burnside provides transport for residents and their shopping on a Council bus between their home and either Burnside Village or Norwood Shopping Centre. It also provides a car service to transport people to medical, ancillary health and some social destinations within 10km of the Burnside Council premises. The service operates between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

German-Speaking Aged Services Association Inc

Does not operate on public holidays. The Connector Bus is a free bus service connecting all parts of Adelaide and the square mile, available for visitors and residents to the city. Run by the Adelaide City Council, the Connector Bus service is a convenient alternative travel option. The service stops at many city attractions, community centres and other public transport options including trains and trams, and is scheduled for every 60 minutes. Adelaide City Council - Commonwealth Home Support Programme

The City of Marion Community Bus provides a door to door service for frail older people over 65 living independently in their homes, adults with a disability, carers of either of the above who do not have access to private transport and find it difficult to use public transport. Destinations include regional shopping centres, community centres and senior citizen's clubs. Trips can be booked as  one off trips, weekly, fortnightly and or monthly. Bookings need to be made by 12.00 midday the day before you want to travel.

City Of Marion

City of Marion is one of the state's larger metropolitan councils covering an area of about 55 km sq, and is located 10 km south of Adelaide stretching from the Glenelg tramline in Glandore to the coastal suburb of Hallett Cove

For those with no other means of transport pickup & return home can be arranged using the Centre's van within limits.

Camden Community Centre

The Camden Community Centre provides low cost services to the whole community, including pre-school children, families, grandparents, people with disabilities, the aged, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, and people with low levels of literacy. Services are friendly and affordable and include adult community education, art and craft, recreation, a men's shed, support groups, affordable childcare, information and referral, socialisation for older people, and volunteer work.

Door to door transport is available to residents who no longer drive and are unable to access public transport. The community bus provides scheduled runs to Payneham Senior Citizens, Salvation Army Companion Club, Payneham Library and weekly shopping trips to Avenues, Marden shopping centres, The Parade or Firle Plaza. The City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters provides a Community transport service for people living in the Council area who have difficulty using public transport, namely the frail aged and young people with disabilities and their carers.
