Polish And Eastern European Specialist Respite Service

Polish Respite and Carer Support Service provides individually tailored, flexible in-home respite  which offers  carers  of frail aged 65+, people  with dementia and/or challenging behavior a break from caring. Priority of access is for people of Eastern European background. Service include short-term and on-going: in-home day respite, weekend and overnight respite, emergency respite.  It also offers individual community access: structured, planned outings for care recipients  accompanied by support staff  to give care recipient culturally appropriate social experience, support independence and social interaction while providing respite for carer.
Support Group for carers of Polish background living in Metropolitan Sydney caring for frail aged or someone suffering from memory loss. Contact service coordinator for information about dates and venues of group meetings.
Care is provided by bilingual staff  speaking Polish & other Eastern European languages
