We are a respite house providing emergency, short and long term care for people with acquired brain injury as well as other disabilities and impediments. We have a newly renovated house with up to the minute facilities for people with a disability. Our staff are all trained in Epilepsy Management, First Aid, PEG feeding and Bowel Care and Management. We also provide daily activities and outings and pride ourselves on our person-centred care. Our house is situated close to everything.

This service provides Centre Based Day Respite, Community Access - Group, Residential Day Respite

The Ecc Italian Seniors Health & Wellness Centre

ECC's Italian Seniors Health & Wellness centre operates at the St Lawrence Church hall two days a week: Wednesday & Friday; from 9am till 2pm. Staff and clients attending are mostly from Italian background. Freshly cooked three course meals, cooked and served in a friendly and culturally harmonious environment are of the Italian & Mediterranean style cuisine.
Additionally, a wide range of activities and information sessions organised and presented in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, helps improve client wellbeing and reduces their social isolation. Our centres cater for Greek, Polish, Italian, Macedonian, Ukrainian and mixed multicultural communities. All services provided are person-centred and culturally appropriate. Our clients are encouraged to actively participate in creating and managing their own individual care plans. Transport is provided by our mini buses.

Wattle Grove Cottage Day Centre

Provides centre based day care for the Newcastle LGA for people with dementia.

The Ecc Ukrainian Seniors Health & Wellness Centre

ECC's Ukrainian Seniors Health & Wellness centre operates at the Ukrainian Church hall one day a week, Thursday from 9am till 2pm. Staff and clients attending are mostly from Ukrainian background. Freshly cooked three course meals, cooked and served in a friendly and culturally harmonious environment are of the Ukrainian & Mid-European style cuisine.
