The program offers basic services such as domestic assistance, shopping, transport and meal support for older people living in their own homes who are experiencing difficulties with these tasks.

Home support programs aim to establish, in partnership with the client, a plan that will address individual needs to support independence to remain at home.

ECH Western Living Well Program

ECH’s Living Well Programs help you to become more involved in social activities. We assist you to reconnect with hobbies and interests or discover new ones. We focus on your personal interests and can offer you individual support to access activities of interest to you.
These could include:
• Joining existing community groups
• Attending social events e.g. lunch clubs, bus trips, movie outings
• Volunteering
• Exercise groups

ECH Day Programs are centre-based program that assists older people who may be feeling socially isolated due to mobility restrictions or memory loss. The program caters for people aged 65 and over, or 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Sundowner Plus is unique in that it operates in the late afternoon and early evening.

Seasiders and Sundowners Plus

Seasiders offers opportunities for people, including those with memory loss, to be active by coming for the day and participating in health and fitness programs, going on day trips, pursuing interests and hobbies such as painting in small group settings, meeting new people and having fun. A home cooked meal is provided, along with some transport if required.

ECH Seaside Wellness

Allied Health Professionals providing health support and advice to minimise symptoms such as pain and maximise mobility, wellbeing and independence.  Various programs look at different health aspects such as diet, exercise, pain management and managing memory loss. They include specific activity programs and allied health services such as podiatry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics.

Aboriginal Elders Community Options Service

THE MALTESE GUILD OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA INC

Office is attended only on Tuesday from 9 am to 3 pm.

KIPSELI PROGRAM- This program provides participants the opportunity to socialise and partake in a wide range of interactive activities designed to keep both the mind and body active. Various guest speakers are also invited to promote health, wellbeing and safety.

Time: 11am – 2pm
Venue: Alternative Tuesdays at Hungarian Club and Thebarton Community Centre 

MAZI MAS Program is a weekly program designed for people experiencing memory loss/confusion to promote, stimulate and maintain their physical and cognitive abilities in a culturally sensitive environment.

Time: 10am – 1pm
Venue: Beulah Road Community Hall-31, Beulah Road Norwood 5067
Date: Every Tuesday

Activities include:
•cognitive tasks and exercises
•cognitive music therapy
•mental imagery therapy
•reminiscence

The Greek Welfare Centre is the welfare agency of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia in South Australia. The Centre is a not for profit, community based, human service organisation that provides a range of programs and services for individuals and families.
