Hastings District Respite Care has been operating since 1986 in the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council LGA area. HDRC is funded under the Commonwealth Home Support Program to provide services to clients with memory loss and/or dementia and operates social support groups in its four centres and it is also funded by Ageing Disability and Home Service for families who care for a person with a disability who are living in their own home and provides respite services for these families.
