St John Ambulance Community Care enlists the help of caring volunteers who give freely of their time, skills and experience, to make a difference in the life of someone else. Our program provides A personalised service by the one-to-one matching of a volunteer and client.

Gentle Movement Chat Groups is aimed at meeting the client's individual physical needs for low impact and gentle movement, with each session guided by a professional fitness instructor. 

The sessions run for approximately two hours on varying weekdays (excluding public holidays). CBS provides a morning or afternoon tea at the conclusion of each session. 

A flat rate of $5 is charged for each session. 

Funding is limited based on the location. Please call for more information.

For over 25 years CBS has been providing support to people who are frail aged, have a disability, or a mental illness, and also support to their carers, in Tasmania. Support is individually tailored within a framework that supports client independence.
