Caulfield Community Health Service

Caulfield Community Health Service (CCHS) is a comprehensive service consisting of centre, community and home based health professional services and health promotion activities to assist our community to improve and maintain its health. CCHS focuses on supporting people who live, work or study within the northern half of the City of Glen Eira and the eastern three quarters of the City of Stonnington. Some services are also available for people from other areas. CCHS receives funding from the Federal and State Governments. This funding is further supported by fees generated through the provision of services and by obtaining various philanthropic trusts and grants. CCHS operates within Caulfield Hospital, a member of Alfred Health.

Alfred Health Carer Services - Caulfield

Alfred Health Carer Services assists with short-term support to carers of all ages. Services include emotional support, respite brokerage, planning for the future, carer education and links to other services and supports. AHCS is unable to offer ongoing or regular assistance.

Respite programs
(Includes National Respite for Carers Program)
Respite programs assist carers supporting dependent seniors to enable them to continue to live at home. Seniors benefit from accessing day programs by pursuing activities, interests and friendships in a safe, supported and friendly environment, while carers gain peace of mind and enjoy planned breaks. The National Respite Carers Program also provides up to 4 hours a week of in-home respite care for carers, to enable them to have a break.
