A community based service located in Haberfield and serving Sydney's Inner West for people with a disability, people who are ageing and their carers. Services include community access, community participation, respite care, individual and social support.

Giant Steps Sydney

The Early Learning Program at Giant Steps Sydney caters for young children between 3-6 years of age with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The program offers a child first focus, encouraging fun and enjoyment in the early years of life. The early intervention team strive to engage students in dynamic, socially challenging learning experiences which consider student's edge of learning and allow them to feel autonomy and mastery in their world.

Inner West Dementia Advisory Services

Dementia Advisory Service - Carer Support groups and Dementia cafes for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers. Also education and training services on Dementia and also information and advice service.

Canterbury City Community Centre Garden Care Service

Garden Care provides an Easy Care Gardening Service and a Lawn Mowing Service.
An easy care garden conversion is undertaken over one to three visits and includes weeding, mulching and pruning. Teams of volunteers work with our staff to tidy the yard and ensure it is safe.Garden Care returns after one year to maintain the work.
A regular lawn mowing service is offered where Garden Care staff or contractors will mow the clients lawn up to 15 times each year.
