Centacare Catholic Disability and Aged Care Services have Twelve services that operate across SE Qld. These services broadly fit within two categories of Accommodation and Lifestyle support services and Learning and Leisure Services provide to adults and young adults with a disability and their families. Disability services are aimed at assisting people to leave large institutional care settings as well as preventing premature admission into residential or congregate care nursing homes and hostels. Individuals are supported to lead independent lives in the community. Group home, attendant care/personal care, in-home accommodation support, case management, local coordination and development, learning and life skill development.

Health and Community Services Workforce Council develops training systems that will enhance the skills and capacity of the industries' workforce. The Workforce council is the principal source of advice to government and the community services and health industries regarding training needs and Volunteers are welcome.

The workforce council provides leadership in the promotion of workforce and skills development in Health and Community Services in order to underpin a sustainable future for Queensland.

We do this through: creating alliances, collaboration and connections that enhance credibility, being a voice to influence government, industry work and training policy, and creating opportunities for community skilling through developing the capacity and quality of the workforce.

Some of the many forms of assistance offered include accommodation services, home visitation, home maintenance and modifications, volunteering and employment opportunities and simply a friendly face or someone to talk to. Micah Projects' Forgotten Australians Support Services assists people who have experienced abuse of power or exploitation by professionals and carers (clergy and religious) in human services and faith communities. Based at Lotus Place, services include:

-State-wide information and referral
-Drop in space for individual support and group activities

-Esther Advocacy and Redress Services, processing complaints through internal church and organisational processes, civil and criminal systems.
