Co-payment

You may need to pay a fee. You'll be able to make a claim on either Medicare or private health. Check before visiting.

Additional information

Transport can be provided to attend specialist medical or other professional appointments. Usual destinations are Canberra/Queanbeyan/Goulburn. Other destinations are by individual arrangement, however it is generally not possible to extend transport to Sydney. There is no provision to provide local (within Yass) transport under the current level of Community Transport Program funding received. The service tries to be flexible in meeting the needs of individual clients, however it does not operate like a taxi service. For out of town appointments, e.g. in Canberra, Queanbeyan or Goulburn, we ask that appointment times are not made after 3pm. Please call us for further information and appointments.
