Early Childhood Health Centre
Early Childhood Health Centre (ECHC) is a centre providing information and support on parenting, child health and development for parents and caregivers with children under five years of age. This service is provided by nurses with training and experience in child and family health. For residents from the City of Ryde only.
Good Beginnings – Ryde Community Hub
Good Beginnings provides free early childhood and practical parenting programs for children and families. They include:
* Supported playgroups
* A transition to school program
* Parenting information
* Education sessions
* A parenting resource centre.
This service is available to all families with children aged 0-8 years in the Ryde local government area. Priority is given to families experiencing social isolation, young parents, single parents, families in which a child or parent has a disability or mental health issue, indigenous families and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) families.
