Western Sydney MRC has the following programmes funded by the Department of Health for people over 65 who have been assessed by My Aged Care. Our programs cater for the culturally and linguistically diverse community in the Liverpool and Fairfield area.
Centre-based respite:
We offer structured group activities at the Western Sydney MRC office where older people can make friends and learn new skills such as painting and learning how to use the internet.
Flexible respite for carers
We provide support in the home to provide carers from their careering responsibilities. This can be short-term, one off support or ongoing.
