The National Respite for Carers Program aims to contribute to the support and maintenance of caring relationships between carers and their dependent family members or friends, by providing information and respite care. Some of the services provided are: in-home respite care, centre based group respite programs (social activities) and community based respite (out of home), either one-on-one with a support worker or as part of a group.
