About HACC Services
The Aged & Disability Services Unit delivers a range of Federal and State funded Home and Community Care (HACC) programs. The programs are delivered in accordance with the Government guidelines and eligibility criteria.
The HACC program targets its services to those who have the greatest need for them and/or the greatest capacity to benefit from them.
It is a requirement of the funding bodies that any person referred for assistance under these program areas will be required to be assessed for eligibility. At the assessment, information will be provided to the resident about the choices available to them and decisions will be made about what services can be allocated.
