The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) allows individuals, their carers and families the opportunity to have a break, to spend time with family and friends or to continue to participate in social activities and community life.
Flexible respite includes in home day respite for carers or clients needing assistance during the day in the carer or clients home. In home overnight respite, where support is provided to stay the night, in your home. And community respite on a regular, occasional, long or short term basis at a time that suits you.
