When complete, it will be ideal for locals and those who like urban living. Residents will be able to stay closely connected with their local community and enjoy the convenience of being in the town centre. Moran Engadine is a modern five-storey home and part of an innovative combined aged care and health services development conceived in close partnership with the local community. It sets the standard for residential care facilities and is purpose designed for comfort and safety. The home will be state of the art in terms of fire safety & security. Every area of the home fully fire protected with fire sprinklers and other fire systems. Security for our residents is a very important consideration and all of our homes have integrated security systems throughout. Your comforts All rooms are designed for privacy, comfort and security with: Their own spacious ensuite Flat screen TVs with free to air TV Telephone point so you can have your own phone Foxtel connection so you can connect your own Foxtel Individual climate control so your room temperature is exactly as you like it Built-in wardrobes Nurse Call systems for help if you need it Large windows to let in the light District views from many rooms. Your care Professional and friendly staff looks after all your care needs on a daily basis, from help with dressing and hygiene to providing tasty meals. You also have the assurance of 24/7 medical help from our registered nurse and a back-up team of specialist health care providers such as physiotherapy. Eat well You can expect a varied menu of food that looks & tastes good and has been prepared by a skilled Chef, to give you a nutritionally balanced diet. Meals can be tailored to meet your specific dietary requirements and, when required, we consult with our Dietitian for expert advice. Recreation and social activities There will be something on every day for our residents to enjoy such as recreational activities, fun filled shows, or regular outings in our wheelchair accessible bus to keep minds & bodies active. Friends and family are always welcome, there are no restrictions on visiting times and undercover visitor parking is available. Levels of care At Engadine we will offer high and low level care, dementia specific care and respite care, delivered to a consistently high standard and tailored to the needs of the individual. We offer ageing in place so that, should residents' needs change from low to high level care, they will not need to leave their familiar environment. This also means that couples with mixed high and low level care needs can be accommodated.
