This service provides low and high level residential care.
The aged care facility at The Plains provides:
• 'High' and 'Low' Care
• Spacious single rooms with individual ensuites
• Eight double rooms (suitable for couples)
• Air-conditioning
• Secure dementia house with its own external courtyard
• Computerised care (iCare) and medication management (Rx-Right) systems, electronic security, and wireless intra-facility communication (interfaced with nurse call system), MATV system (allowing village events and in-house programs to be beamed to residents), and VoIP telephony/ internet (accessible by residents)
• Eight interlinked 'houses', each with its own Bible-derived name (prefixed by 'Beth' - Hebrew for 'House'), kitchen, dining room, lounge, family room, and activities space
• Full access to all village amenities including cafe, library, courtyards, pond with gazebo, swimming pool, children's playground, men's workshop, community hall and barbeque pavilion.
• The Plains has full three-year Accreditation.
