I provide the following services to children and adolescents:
1.Comprehensive psychological and educational assessment and advice specialising in:
Learning problems such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia
Social and emotional issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression
ADD/ADHD
Giftedness, early entry/acceleration
Intellectual ability/disability
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Please note that assessment and advice for adults is available for dyslexia and other learning difficulties and also for autism spectrum disorder.
2. Counselling/therapy (Children and adolescents)
A predominantly cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach is used to assist individuals to develop better coping skills and strategies for managing a range of concerns, e.g. anxiety/fears and phobias/anger/social relationships.
3. Behaviour management appointments are also available for parents who are concerned about their child's behaviour at home and/or school, in order to identify key areas of concern and implement strategies to assist the child, family and/or school.
