Extended Families Australia - Central/Northern and Western Region

Volunteer and Family Match Program: A child between the ages of 0-17 with a disability is matched with a volunteer who fulfils the role of an extended family member where none exist. Usually the volunteer offers between 2 -4 hours once a week or fortnight. 
Live Your Community Program: Volunteers support children with friendship, practical assistance and mentoring to help them take part in sport, recreation and leisure events or activities that are of interest to the child. Extended families other programs include Friendship groups, Playgroups, social events and a North Western Vietnamese program.
