Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS) helps older people and their carers to identify what kind of care will best meet their needs when they are no longer able to manage at home without assistance. ACAS assesses and approves older people for aged care services, including: home care packages; transition care – for people immediately following a hospital stay; residential respite care; residential aged care.
