The service does not operate on Weekends or Public Holidays.. The Riverland Transport Scheme involves the provision of information and facilitation to access local transport options. It assists those who are transport disadvantaged of all age groups. The Riverland Medical Bus is available to eligible Riverland residents requiring transport assistance to Medical Appointments in Adelaide. See our website links for further information available: Eligibility and booking. The Riverland Community Transport Scheme is available to eligible (frail, elderly, have a disability, or be isolated) residents who live within the boundaries of the Loxton Waikerie, Renmark Paringa and Berri Barmera Councils. Transport is provided by linking clients to available local commercial operators (eg Taxis, Bus) and other service agencies. Where no other transport option exists support may be provided by our volunteer driven vehicles.
