Additional information
Community Aged Care Packages are designed to provide low level care equivalent to that received in a hostel. They are planned and managed packages of community care services to help older people with complex care needs to remain living in their own homes.
The types of services may include: bathing; laundry; meal preparation; dressing; transport; housework; temporary in-home respite; home maintenance; and social activities. The services are very flexible and can change as client needs change.
Fees
While receiving services, people are expected to make a weekly contribution towards the cost of care. This is a negotiated fee related to income. No one will be excluded for financial reasons from receiving a service.
