Additional information
Aspley East Special Education Unit is located within the grounds of Aspley East State School. The Unit caters for the needs of vision impaired students from Years 1 - 7. Students of the Aspley East Special Education Unit participate as fully as possible in the regular school program and activities. Some extra and alternative programs are available to those students who need them. One of the major advantages of the Unit situation is that it allows vision impaired students to be part of a regular school program environment with the reassurance that there are trained people onsite who can offer expert support and assistance as necessary.
