Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS) are provided by Noah's Ark to families of children from birth to school age with a developmental delay or disability.
Children are eligible for an Early Childhood Intervention service if:
* They have a developmental delay in any of the following areas; intellectual, communication, physical, sensory, social or emotional development and
* The developmental delay results in significant difficulties in one or more of the following areas of activity: self care, understanding others and/or letting others know what they need or feel, emotional or physical development.
Services we offer are:
* Home visits to the family
* Visits to Kindergarten and Child Care
* Groups at Noah's Ark or in the community
* Opportunities to meet with other parents
* Specialist advice as requested by the family
* Loan of specialist toys or equipment to assist the child's development
*Activities to help the child's development
* Individual sessions
* Parent education and information on parent programs in the community
