Additional Information: Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre provides information and referral, support groups, supported accommodation, emergency relief funds. The client may receive support by way of food vouchers or help to pay some accounts e.g.. telephone, (land line only) rent, (paid to recognised rental agency) medication prescriptions, school books and uniforms. The program is designed to help those who are suffering from financial hardship.
By supporting the clients through this hardship period it is hoped that
it will make a difference and help them move forward. Appointments can be made by phoning the Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre on Tel: 07 3379 6963 for assessments which are conducted every Wednesday morning.

the Housing and Homelssness Program. We can accommodate individuals, couples and families.
SNC Housing Service has:
3 x 1 bedroom flats located on the premises of the Neighbourhood Centre
and 4 houses in the local area.
Applications are taken by phone or by appointment by phoning the agency. Referrals are taken from other agencies.
