Additional Information: Blending respite, friendship and fun, our Clubs are for frail older people, people with dementia or people with a disability who live in the City of Onkaparinga. Qualified staff and trained volunteers provide a professional support program in a safe and welcoming environment. Activities include: guest speakers board and table games regular outings hot lunches gentle exercise entertainment.
The clubs are based at the Council's Positive Ageing Centres.
• Friendship Club - Wakefield House in Morphett Vale -operates every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am–3pm.
• Kookaburra Club - Elizabeth House in Christies Downs -operates every Tuesday only from 9am–3pm.
• Transport can be arranged. We request a contribution towards the cost of meals, transport and special events.
