Additional Information: The Transport service operates across the Adelaide metropolitan area, as well as in the South East Country and Eyre Peninsula regions, with regional offices located in Mt Gambier and Pt Lincoln. Red Cross Transport service enables people who have no access to other means of transportation to attend medical appointments. There is also limited transport available for people to attend social and family occasions. You can also become involved in the Transport service by becoming a transport volunteer driver, an office administrator, by referring family or friends. See website links for further information available: EntryProcedures Registrations can be made over the telephone and can be made by yourself, a carer, social worker, doctor, family member or friend. Once registered, you can begin to use the Transport service. Please give as much notice as possible when booking transport. On most occasions, if clients are booked for appointments at similar times in similar locations, they will travel together.

Additional Information: Telecross is a service that provides the elderly and housebound with a reassuring daily phone call to ensure that they are safe and well. If this call goes unanswered an agreed emergency procedure will be activated and help arranged if necessary. Telecross calls are made by trained volunteers daily at an agreed time that suits the recipient of the call. Additional Information: save-a-mate (SAM) develops young people's skills to look after themselves and provide support to their peers by delivering education, training, first aid services and support on health issues, particularly relating to alcohol and other drug use and mental health.
