The Public Dental (Oral Health) Services offers the following: General dental care Emergency dental care Denture services Public Dental services are available for those aged 18 years and over who have a Health Care card or Pension card. Dental services are also available and free of charge to all children and young people under 12 years of age who have a Health Care Card or are eligible for the Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS). Services are also free of charge to children & young people between the ages of 13-17 who have a Health Care Card or Pension Card or are eligible for the Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS). Priority Access is given for our dental services for those that are: Pregnant Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent Aged over 80 years Newly arrived refugee or asylum seeker Homeless Have a mental health condition.
